NEWS I am joining SRL (Social Robotics Laboratory) at Albert-Ludwigs Univeritaet Freiburg from June to start a PhD.

I am a final year graduate student in Computer Science (Smart Systems) at Jacobs University in Bremen, Germany. I did my undergraduate studies in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the same university. Before that I briefly attended JKUAT in Nairobi, Kenya where I studied intro courses in MechE. I completed my secondary and primary school from Nyabondo High in Sondu and Obino Primary in Kisumu, Kenya respectively.

I visited Idiap Research Institute from July 2012 to Feb 2013 and worked with Jean-Marc Odobez and Vasil Khalidov to develop statistical models for head tracking.

In the further past, I have worked with number of research groups including the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI), the Robotics Institute at CMU, the Intelligent Autonomous Systems Group at TUM, Automation Group at JUB and CoSy at UniB. I was also involved with Rasdaman and Google Summer of Code 2009.
